i just got back from kl! my family and i spent a week there. we did a day trip up to ipoh too. most of our time was spent with our relatives, which was really good. i only have 3 girl cousins, all younger than me, all from the same family in kl. they really put a smile on your face. they are so full of joy and innocence, it's really uplifting. how happy the world often seems to little children (: there's a lot we can learn from children, their childlike faith for instance.
if you're curious how much shopping i did in kl, i spent a grand total of RM6.90. not bad huh. i'm saving for winterwear in hk. hehh. that will be a necessity.
everytime we go back to kl we really pig out there. supper is so common for the people there, or at least my relatives anyway. and the christmas/new year food fest just started! i should go running more often.
anyway, merry christmas everyone! don't forget the real reason for this occasion... it's really overwhelming how Jesus died for us on the cross to pay for our sins. imagine the extent of the debt we accumulate sinning, yet it is cancelled when we believe and receive, and take up the cross to follow Him.
i've been reading this book called 'Driven by Eternity' by John Bevere for the last few days and it's been really enlightening. it really makes you reflect on how you live your own life.
